Internal Auditor / Senior Internal Auditor I

Summary

We are currently seeking applicants for an experienced Internal Auditor / Senior Auditor in the Internal Audit department. Internal Audit serves the health system by conducting audit engagements that consist of operational, financial, and compliance audits based on a risk-based audit plan. Providing an independent and objective assurance and consulting function, the Internal Audit department provides value-add and meaningful recommendations to improve operations, mitigate enterprise risk, and achieve strategic goals.

This position is open to either an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor. See below for requirements.

Internal Auditor - Job Requirements

• Education

  Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

  Experience

  Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting/Audit related field

  Skills

  Organizational, time management, prioritization and follow-through skills

  Strong written and verbal communication skills

  Aptitude for information technology and specialized programs as applicable

  Analytical and critical thinking skills

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

  Preferred: Certification in Auditing, Accounting, Information Technology or other related field

Senior Auditor I - Job Requirements

• Education

  Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Experience

  Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Audit related field

• Skills

  Organizational, time management, prioritization and follow-through skills

  Strong written and verbal communication skills

  Aptitude for information technology, including Microsoft Office, and specialized programs as applicable

  Analytical and critical thinking skills

• Licensure/Certification/Registration

  Required: Certification in Auditing, Accounting, or other related field

  Preferred: Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Internal Auditor
