A company is looking for a Technical Editor to oversee the quality and clarity of technical documentation for plumbing products.

Key Responsibilities

Review and edit technical content for plumbing products, including installation instructions and homeowner guides

Recommend and support technical communication requirements and style standards across all publications

Lead assignments from conception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or Technical Communications, or 4 years of equivalent industry experience

At least 4 years of professional writing and / or editing experience for physical products or software

Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical product assembly and servicing

Demonstrated ability to translate between 2D and 3D data views

Advanced skills in MS Excel and ability to learn complex CMS and authoring tools quickly
