Subcontracts Analyst

General Job Description : The Subcontracts Analyst role analyzes and oversees the negotiation and execution of Company subcontract agreements with external vendors and suppliers. The Subcontracts Analyst ensures subcontract agreements reflect mutually acceptable business and meet regulatory requirements, mitigate risks, and optimize costs. This role must be able to work in a high-paced team environment and must be well organized and detail-oriented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Apply and interpret established procurement policies, procedures, and processes, including those that are complex and may require in-depth analysis and interpretation; ensure compliance with internal and external business standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and review subcontracts using multiple factors and criteria; independently apply business expectations and market terms to find practical solutions.
• Review subcontract redlines from vendors or suppliers negotiate standard requests and / or recommend higher level review by Purchasing leadership and Legal.
• Understanding situational risk for each type of subcontract and make recommendations based on the understanding of the contract.
• Serve as a subcontracts knowledge leader and technical resource and interface between subcontractors and ACCO, collaborate with Purchasing personnel and Legal, interacts with internal customers, managers, team members and external vendors.
• Works with internal ACCO stakeholders to streamline the subcontracts review process.

Hours :

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7 : 00 am and 5 : 00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel :   0-5% of the time to and from the primary office and regional branch offices.

Competitive Wages :

$81,000 to $106,500 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
