    • Job Description :

    Overview of Unit / Department

    Adult Psychiatric Units I and II provide care for adult patients (ages 18-50) experiencing acute mental health needs. Each unit includes 21 beds, divided into two wings : a 14-bed lower acuity wing and a 7-bed higher acuity wing, allowing for tailored, patient-centered care.

    These units are built around a strong commitment to safety and creating a supportive, therapeutic environment that promotes healing and mental wellness. Staff play a vital role in fostering stability, trust, and recovery for patients during vulnerable moments in their lives.

    Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates

  • Up to $900 Sign-On Bonus
  • Up to 12 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off
  • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus
  • Up to $0.50 Certification pay
  • Up to $0.50 BS pay
  • Job Summary
  • Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports any changes in patient condition.

  • Education
  • Required : High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field
  • Experience
  • Preferred : Previous experience with mental health or age specific population
  • Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits valuable time management skills
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration
  • BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employment
  • Must obtain department specific certifications within the designated time frameEducation :
  • Required : High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in psychology or related field

  • Preferred : Previous experience with mental health or age specific population

    • Skills :
