Job Summary
This position is critical in delivering exceptional care to patients, implementing treatment protocols based on physician orders and departmental policies. You will work independently in various acute and critical care environments, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment. Candidates must be skilled in providing care across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

We offer competitive sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions, including $7,500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience ($5,000 for those with less than one year) and licensed in South Carolina. Accountabilities
Supervisory / Management Responsibility
This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program or eligible for South Carolina licensure, or a senior student graduating within three months.
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or eligible for licensure, or a senior graduating within three months. BLS certification required. NBRC credentials must be maintained. Candidates hired before June 2016 may hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist credential. Candidates hired after this date must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam and the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of graduation; failure to pass will result in termination. NRP and PALS certifications are required for work in the NICU and PICU.
