Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in software development to join our dynamic team. This is a contract position based in Des Moines, with a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a diverse set of skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as required by the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications using RPG, CL, DB2, and SQL.
• Manage batch jobs and provide application support and development in AS400.
• Utilize knowledge of Aldon and OnDemand tools to enhance project outcomes.
• Apply a thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Collaborate within an Agile environment and utilize tools like JIRA effectively.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies as needed.
• Leverage knowledge of the insurance domain, specifically annuities, to contribute effectively to projects.
• Utilize basic knowledge of CONTROL M for job scheduling and management.
