Practice Nurse LPN (Non-Exempt)

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details :

Overview :

The Primary Care Nurse completes triage and identifies abnormal patient symptoms, laboratory findings and notifies physician or provides treatment according to standard Primary Care developed protocols. Assists with EPIC in-basket management including, but not limited to incoming and outgoing telephonic or My Mercy messages, test results, medication refill requests, etc. Inputs orders as needed to aid provider and clinical care team.

LPN Qualifications :

• Education : Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Licensure :

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
