Senior Project Manager / IT Project Mgr II

The primary purpose of the Senior Project Manager / IT Project Mgr II role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of complex projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may require dynamic change management to deliver business value. Ability to identify and communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans to technical and business stakeholders.

Essential Functions :

• Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
• Communication to project sponsor, champion, stakeholders and project team members.
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure that the project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare estimates and project budget.
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
• Utilize PPM Pro for project reporting and tracking of finances and resources.
• Prepare status reports and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Ensure that project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
• Benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers as requested.
• All other duties as assigned.
