Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work with a core group of engineers on studies, designs, and field assignments for clients. This role is based in our Pasadena office but allows for hybrid remote working options in the general Los Angeles area.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Working effectively on water and wastewater engineering capital project teams,as well as other project-related cross-functional teams with representatives from divisions throughout the organization on wastewater projects inclidng conventional wastewater treatment processes, membrane bioreactors (MBR), reverse osmosis desalination and brackish water treatment, UV, Ozone and other advanced water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Primary responsibility will be providing process engineering services to clients with projects mainly in Southern California but may involve travel to other parts of the State as well. Working with other members of our team, you'll evaluate and select the best treatment approach to solve a client’s challenges and design treatment systems and plant improvements.
• Planning and executing projects, including project approach and resource needs, options analysis, computer modeling, process and equipment design, engineering document development, and system ownership through the project delivery phases of plan, design, procure, construct, and commissioning.
• Strong technical leadership, collaboration, and sound business value based prioritization and problem solving skills.
• Travel may be required to meet business needs.
