Behavioral Health Technician

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct and supportive care to clients / patients. Your duties will include overseeing day-to-day activities, redirecting clients / patients when needed, monitoring health (vital signs), intervening and responding to crises, communicating with the treatment team, facilitating group education / structured activities, and transporting clients / patients as necessary. You will also be responsible for understanding client / patient treatment plans, documenting behavior, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

Physical Requirements :

Sedentary work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and / or writing during work shift. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
