Project Engineer – Bridge / Railway Construction (Traveling Role)

Location : Traveling – Projects Across the U.S.

Our client is a leading civil construction contractor specializing in bridge, railway, and marine construction projects across the country. They take pride in tackling complex infrastructure challenges and delivering lasting results safely and efficiently.

We’re looking for  experienced Project Engineers with a background in bridge and rail construction to join a talented team focused on complex projects . This is a traveling position — perfect for someone who enjoys being in the field, working hands-on, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

You’ll play a key role supporting project management, field coordination, scheduling, and quality control while collaborating with crews, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do

Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting for bridge, rail, and marine projects

Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors on-site

Perform inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards

Track progress and prepare project documentation and reports

Support field teams in problem-solving and technical project execution

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or related field (or equivalent experience)

1–5 years of experience in bridge, structural, or heavy civil construction

Strong understanding of bridge repair / rehabilitation and construction , or structural steel and concrete work

Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide (company covers travel and per diem)
