Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about enriching the lives of seniors? Our Skilled Nursing Facility in Toledo, Ohio is seeking two (2) Full-Time Activities Assistants to join our team. These positions are union roles, benefits eligible, and available for immediate hire.
Status: Full-Time
Openings: 2
Schedule Requirement: Must be available to work every other weekend
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long-Term Care / Rehabilitation
Union Position with comprehensive benefits
Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing daily activities for residents
Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one programs
Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment
Document attendance, resident preferences, and program outcomes
Support residents with safe transport to and from activities
Collaborate with Activity Director, nursing staff, and other departments
Experience in activities, recreation, senior care, or customer service is helpful (but willing to train the right candidate)
Compassionate, upbeat, and resident-focused personality
Ability to work every other weekend (required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and committed to creating meaningful experiences for residents
