Oracle Financials Developer (Remote) Alexandria, VA Job Description:Type:Fully Remote, Full-Time, Direct Hire Active Secret Security Clearance Required Job Title:Oracle Financials Developer Job Overview:The Oracle Financials Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions within the Oracle Financials applications suite.This role involves collaborating with business analysts, functional experts, and other IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.The Oracle Financials Developer plays a critical role in supporting financial processes and ensuring the system's functionality aligns with the organization's needs.Responsibilities:Application Development:Develop and customize Oracle Financials applications, including Oracle General Ledger (GL), Oracle Accounts Payable (AP), Oracle Accounts Receivable (AR), Oracle Fixed Assets (FA), Oracle Cash Management, and other related modules.Integration:Integrate Oracle Financials with other enterprise systems and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.Customization and Extensions:Create custom solutions and extensions using Oracle development tools, such as Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and PL/SQL.Data Migration:Assist in data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and secure data transfer between legacy systems and Oracle Financials.Support and Maintenance:Provide technical support for Oracle Financials applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks like patches and upgrades.Testing:Design and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and development best practices.Security and Compliance:Implement security measures and adhere to industry and organizational standards to safeguard financial data and maintain compliance.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with Oracle Financials product updates, new features, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Proven experience as an Oracle Financials Developer or in a similar role with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).Strong proficiency in Oracle development tools, including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, and Oracle Workflow.Familiarity with Oracle EBS data structures, APIs, and integration methodologies.Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Oracle certifications related to Oracle Financials or EBS development is a plus.Please note that job descriptions can vary based on the specific needs and requirements of each organization.It's essential to refer to the latest job postings and descriptions to get the most up-to-date information for any given position.$155,000 - $175,000 a year.
