Our programs are staffed by experts who help over 350,000 clients each year and advocate on behalf of all needy New Yorkers. Our services include 100% affordable housing at 21 locations, family violence services, Holocaust survivor assistance, geriatric social work, crisis intervention and the largest free kosher food distribution program in the world. Our network of 101 food pantries, affordable housing sites, and affiliated JCCs provide services directly in neighborhoods across New York City.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team as a Grant Accountant. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for overseeing an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with funding requirements, and timely billing.
Principal Responsibilities:
Grant Accounting/Billing: 80% - 90%
Special Projects: 10% - 20%

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
