🌟 Position Overview
MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare to patients in Canton, Michigan.
The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patient health conditions while providing health counseling, chronic disease management, and comprehensive follow-up care.
🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling.

Evaluate and treat patients for injuries, illnesses, and chronic health conditions.

Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic testing.

Develop and coordinate comprehensive patient care plans with other healthcare professionals.

Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and encourage active participation in their healthcare.

Support wellness, behavioral health, and chronic condition management.

Manage patient appointments and follow-up activities.
-
Verify insurance, collect payments, and perform other administrative clinic responsibilities.

Assist with clinic opening/closing, inventory, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the clinical care team.

Apply quality measurement principles to chronic disease management.
✅ Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:

Family medicine
-
Primary care
-
Urgent care
-
-
Master's degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.

Current national board certification.
-
Current NP license in the state of employment.

NP license must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to practice autonomously and work effectively without direct supervision.

Proficiency with electronic medical systems and healthcare technology.

Willingness to obtain additional/multi-state licensure as needed.
📋 Required Documentation

BLS certification required from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
