Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for an In-Room Dining Manager who is enthusiastic about joining a team that is focused on creating the ultimate in-room dining experience. The Department Manager is part of a dynamic team that provides award winning service to our residents and hotel guests. This position reports to the Director of Food and Beverage. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Room Service department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
Long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for residents, guests, clients, and group contacts.
Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services.
Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and Marketing team to design effective menu, amenity and private bar offerings while ensuring excellent product quality.
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory and cash control.
Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed; and ensure proper use and provide regular care, security and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
Two to three years previous experience in an Assistant Manager position in Food & Beverage.
Working knowledge of department operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, and accounting.
Ability to operate computer systems and other food & beverage platforms including Micros, Bartech, OpenTable, Birchstreet, labor management and payroll systems.

Ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest.

Receive a salary between $82,000 - $85,000, applicable bonus and a comprehensive benefit plan.
