Job Description

Title: SAP Change Management Project Manager

Location: Springfield, IL

Duration: 6 to 12 months

Interview: Phone and Skype

Job description:

  • 5+ years proven track record of leading enterprise scale, complex IT projects/programs successfully
  • Extensive MS-Project experience
  • Extensive MS-Office experience
  • IT Program/Project Management
  • Full Lifecycle Program Management
  • Project Management Processes and Tools
  • Developing & Managing Project Timelines
  • Developing and/or supporting change management strategy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-orientation
  • Lead overall change management and communication initiatives to successful completion.
  • Provide project planning and management expertise, and support to partner with stakeholders to ensure proper change management strategy, alignment, integration, visibility, and implementation success. Maintain visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams and ensuring sufficient face-time with key stakeholders
  • Provide status reporting to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis by leveraging traditional project management tools including Microsoft Project.
  • Create and execute tactical project work plans in accordance with projects objectives and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Regularly meet with change management team stakeholders to assess task assignment completion and ensure that all project plan objectives are met
  • Manage activities of communication team stakeholders to assess task assignment completion and ensure that all project plan objectives are met
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to effectively communicate project expectations in a timely and clear manner
  • Manage project requests, ensuring scope is in alignment with expectations and committed services to be provided
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path change management and communication deliverables
  • Communicate and report project status and metrics
  • Carry out other general project management, communications, and marketing tasks
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on upcoming key milestones
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) desired
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • On-Site Only (from Monday at 11 through Thursday at 3; Friday Remote)
