BizTek People is in search for an experienced Process Improvement Consultant (Healthcare Operations) for our client in Portland, OR! Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension to 26 weeks Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM Work Type: Hybrid (local candidates required)

Overview: Seeking an experienced Performance Improvement Consultant to support ambulatory access and operational improvement initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This role partners with leadership and operational teams to improve patient access, optimize workflows, and drive Lean-based performance improvement strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Lean and A3-based improvement initiatives
• Partner with leadership on strategic operational goals
• Facilitate large-scale access and performance improvement projects
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies and change management
• Develop and deliver training related to operational excellence and patient access
• Establish sustainable workflows and management systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
• 7+ years of performance improvement experience OR 5+ years of healthcare experience plus 3+ years in leadership/performance improvement
• Hands-on Lean experience
• Lean Certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience working with senior leadership
• Six Sigma, Change Management, or EPIC Cadence certifications preferred
