Our Client is looking for a talented Program Manager who has experience overseeing large complex web portal projects using an Agile/Scrum methodology. This responsibility will entail leading the Client web portal project from end-to-end through the software development life-cycle. The Client web portal will enable our regulated customers to do most of their permitting, billing, payments, and data submission online. Currently, Client conducts most of its business with its customer using manual processes. It receives permit applications, bill pay, notifications, and compliance data via paper form for roughly 140 different transaction types. These paper processes require non-value added time on the part of both Client's customers and Client's staff. Elapsed time from the customer beginning their paper creation to receiving final answer from the Client ranges from weeks to months. Client is proposing to automate all these processes via a web portal that will be accessed by its customers, shareholders and staff. Client anticipates savings in elapsed time ranging from 75% to 95% for each transaction by implementing these processes on-line via a customer web portal.
Requirements - A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in a technical software development environment - A minimum of 5 years managing large web portal projects in an Agile/Scrum environment - Demonstrated experience driving projects successfully, including web, product, business operations, and ecommerce initiatives - Experience in coordinating and eliciting requirements - Demonstrated ability to work across multiple job levels to achieve results - Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies - Demonstrated use of sound and proven project management practices and automated tools - Proven experience managing expectations and managing cross-functional teams - Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization - This person will have solid PM experience in both waterfall and agile environments. - Understands the technologies in the full project process from the business to the data warehouse and web development and everything in between - Is a "driver"pushing the project along and making sure that everyone is committed and held accountable. - Knows the value proposition as it relates to the business and ensures the project is successful to the value proposition.
