Position Overview
Practice in a collaborative outpatient cancer center supporting patients throughout their oncology journey. You'll work alongside experienced hematologists, oncologists, infusion nurses, navigators, social workers, dietitians, rehabilitation specialists, and research staff while utilizing Epic EMR within an integrated health system.
This assignment is ideal for providers seeking excellent work-life balance with weekday-only hours, no call, and a highly supportive clinical environment.
Compensation: $130/hour
Pay Ranking: Top 20–25% among comparable Midwest Hematology/Oncology APP locum assignments
Assignment Highlights

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
- Follow patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy
- Manage treatment-related symptoms and supportive care
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Develop and monitor treatment plans
- Coordinate care with collaborating physicians
- Provide patient education
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
- Collaborate with infusion nursing staff
- Document all encounters in Epic
