Axiom Consultants, Inc, is seeking a skilled PHP Developer to provide support to the NOAA Fisheries Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (GARFO).Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using PHP 7 and modern frameworks such as CodeIgniter 4.Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL scripts and queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and implement user-friendly, secure, and scalable solutions.Integrate applications with APIs and services using JSON, OpenID, and OIDC protocols.Manage code versions and collaborate in a shared development environment using Git and GitHub.Deploy and support applications in a Linux-based environment, utilizing command-line tools for setup and maintenance.Contribute to cloud-based development initiatives within AWS, ensuring performance, security, and reliability standards are met.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
