In this position...
This position will lead all the heat exchangers (Condenser, Radiator, CAC, WCC, Battery Chiller with expertise on design, materials (Aluminum alloy) and manufacturing processes (brazing), and laboratory analysis techniques. Increasing quality issues in manufacturing, process controls, material usage, and HEX design are an increasing priority as experience levels at the suppliers have diminished over last 10 years.

You'll have...
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in heat exchange or systems engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in HEX designs and development.
- 6+ years materials laboratory metallurgical experience.
- Extensive materials background in corrosion testing and design
- Extensive knowledge of Materials and manufacturing processes for joining/brazing.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various lab tools – SEM, FTIR, Surface Analysis Tools, TGA.
- Proven history of evaluating choices and directing a team based on technical ideals balanced with industrialization realities.
- Key:Ability to lead and align collections of people that do not directly report to this position. Ability to institutionalize the key factors of thermal systems success and lessons learned through documentation (design rules, requirements, technical design guides, and to teach associated learning sessions.Ability to form an opinion, communicate it effectively at all levels, and drive the company in a winning direction.
Technical Specialist candidates will be required to submit a completed evidence book to proceed in the interview process.
