Dishwasher / Utility Worker About the Role:

  • The Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dish machine and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area to support efficient kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Dishwashing Operations: Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment.

Machine Maintenance:

  • Set up and clean the dish machine area; monitor temperatures and soap dispensing levels.

Equipment Storage:

  • Properly store clean equipment and utensils.

Sanitation Support:

  • Assist in maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation and service areas.

Waste Management:

  • Empty trash and transport waste to the designated disposal area.

Floor Care:

  • Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Temperature Documentation:

  • Complete all required temperature logs during each shift.

Order Assistance:

  • Assist with receiving and organizing orders in a timely manner as needed.

Dress Code & Hygiene:

  • Follow dress code standards and maintain proper personal hygiene.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Certification:

  • State food service certification required, if applicable.

Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English; basic technical skills to complete routine tasks.
