This Senior Manager role is accountable for client delivery after contract signature, including implementation, steady-state operations, service quality, and client outcomes. The role also supports practice growth by working with Partners, Managing Directors, and Sales Leaders on renewals, expansions, and selected new business efforts.

  • Directing cross-functional delivery teams and third-party vendors to meet service level agreements, quality expectations, and client commitments across health and welfare and defined benefit pension administration
  • Serving as the primary post-sale client contact for delivery performance, issue escalation, service reviews, and account growth discussions
  • Partnering with product and practice leadership to identify service improvements, prioritize platform enhancements, and build scalable delivery processes and playbooks
  • Supporting late-stage sales efforts, account expansion activities, team hiring, and delivery quality standards as the practice grows

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships
  • Ability to lead projects or workstreams
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to mentor and provide clear guidance to others
  • The team Workforce Rewards and Compliance is part of Deloitte's Human Capital practice within the Insights, Innovation, and Operate offering portfolio. The team helps organizations design, implement, and operate rewards, benefits, and compliance programs through technology-enabled and managed service solutions. As Deloitte expands its U.S. Benefits Administration capabilities, this team is building a scalable model to support health and welfare and defined benefit pension administration for employer clients.

    Qualifications Required:

    • 10+ years of experience leading delivery for outsourced benefits administration services, including health and welfare and defined benefit pension administration
    • 10+ years of experience managing client relationships and account outcomes for upper-middle-market or jumbo employers while overseeing multi-functional delivery teams, including call center operations, third-party vendor or platform relationships, and service level agreements
    • 5+ years of experience leading key components of health and welfare or defined benefit pension implementations
    • 2+ years of experience supporting sales cycles, including discovery, solutioning, and oral presentations, and working with benefits administration platforms such as Alight, Businessolver, WTW, or Conduent
