CT Technologist Job Description Job Title CT Technologist Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Abrazo Central Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves performing a variety of computed tomography procedures on diverse patient populations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. The successful candidate will operate advanced CT equipment, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate effectively with the radiology team to support comprehensive patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Position patients safely and accurately for optimal imaging. Administer contrast media as required, monitoring patients for adverse reactions. Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and image quality. Review and evaluate CT images for technical quality, completeness, and accuracy. Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures and any incidents. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a Computed Tomography (CT) credential. Minimum years of experience as a CT Technologist: Not specified. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
