We're seeking an International Travel Planning Associate interested in helping clients research and coordinate vacations beyond their usual destinations.
You don't need to have traveled the world or have previous professional travel experience. What you do need is curiosity, strong research skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to continually learn.
Areas You'll Explore
Depending on client needs, you may research:
- International destinations and regions
- Hotels, resorts, and other accommodations
- Cruises and multi-destination itineraries
- Transportation between destinations
- Tours, excursions, and cultural experiences
- Entry requirements and available travel resources
- Vacation packages and supplier options
You'll then help clients organize those pieces into an experience that reflects their interests, priorities, and budget.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations
- Research and compare travel options
- Present personalized recommendations
- Coordinate reservations and trip components
- Maintain detailed client information
- Communicate important deadlines and information
- Follow up throughout the planning process
- Continue developing destination and supplier knowledge
Skills We Value
We're interested in people who are resourceful, organized, comfortable communicating with different personalities, and able to research unfamiliar topics.
Customer service, hospitality, sales, administrative, education, or planning experience can be helpful, but isn't required.
Training and mentorship are available as you develop your knowledge.
This remote opportunity offers flexible scheduling, access to industry education and resources, and room to grow based on your individual goals.
If learning about new places makes you immediately want to research everything about them, that curiosity could be a great fit here.
Basic Requirements
- Applicants must reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, or Latin America.
- Access to a computer or smartphone with reliable internet.
