CNC Machinist (Multiple Shifts)

Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist

A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts. 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Load programs and set or adjust work and tool offsets.
• Work with Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls.
• Load and unload parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Read and interpret manufacturing prints.
• Change fixtures, replace tooling, and manage tool libraries.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, pins, indicators, and bore gauges.
• Perform first-part and in-process inspections.
• Maintain machining tolerances of +/- .0005".
• Use basic math and geometric tolerancing to verify part dimensions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• CNC setup and operation experience with 3-axis vertical mills required.
• 4 and 5-axis machining experience is a plus.
• Experience using multiple metrology tools to measure and record part dimensions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed machine shop.
• Strong communication, dependability, and work ethic.

Schedule:
Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Swing Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM
Weekend Day Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-5:30 PM
Weekend Night Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 PM-5:30 AM

All shifts are full-time. Swing and weekend shifts are eligible for a shift differential.

Pay: $21-$34/hour DOE
