Summary The Supply Planner is responsible for leading supply planning activities to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining inventory targets and optimizing supply chain efficiency. This role aligns manufacturing, inventory, raw material, and supplier plans with finished goods requirements to support business objectives. The Supply Planner drives continuous improvement in planning processes, supports integrated business planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), and ensures consistent execution of both insourced and outsourced supply planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Typical Education Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Agriculture, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant Experience Supply Planning Demand Planning Inventory Management Procurement Logistics and Distribution Manufacturing Operations Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
Other Information Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, or similar planning platforms). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Understanding of master planning concepts, inventory optimization, logistics, customer service, and deployment planning. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial decision-making skills. Ability to influence cross-functional teams and effectively manage competing priorities. Experience in agriculture, crop planning, fertilizer procurement, or seasonal supply chain environments preferred.
