Regional Sales Manager Industrial Manufacturing

Confidential Search | Nationwide | Remote with Travel Base Salary: $150,000$180,000 + Incentive Opportunity

A well-established U.S. manufacturer of engineered metal components is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive new business development and expand relationships with OEM and industrial manufacturing customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven industrial sales professional with experience selling bearings, power transmission products, metal stampings, machined components, engineered components, or similar manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new OEM and industrial manufacturing accounts
• Grow revenue within existing customer relationships
• Identify and pursue new markets and sales opportunities
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through quotation and contract negotiation
• Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, operations, and executive-level decision makers
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service on new business opportunities
• Develop pricing strategies and negotiate long-term customer agreements
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts
• Conduct regular customer and prospect visits
• Manage and support independent manufacturer representatives as applicable

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial or manufacturing sales experience preferred
• Proven success selling directly to OEM manufacturers
• Experience selling one or more of the following strongly preferred:
  • Bearings and bearing components
  • Power transmission products
  • Metal stampings
  • Precision machined components
  • Engineered metal components
  • Custom manufactured products
• Strong new-business development and account-growth experience
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and customer applications
• Strong quotation, pricing, and contract negotiation skills
• Experience working with CRM and ERP systems
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience

Travel

This is a remote, nationwide sales position requiring approximately 2550% travel to customers, prospects, manufacturing facilities, and industry events.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales professional who understands how manufactured components are designed, sourced, quoted, and sold into OEM environments. We are especially interested in individuals who have established relationships within the bearing, power transmission, metal forming, stamping, machining, industrial equipment, or engineered-components markets.
