Job description

Overview-

We are seeking a temporary Procurement Assistant to provide critical support to our Procurement organization during a period of increased demand and open positions across our manufacturing facilities. This individual will help ensure continuity of procurement operations, support internal stakeholders, and prevent delays in purchasing and supplier-related activities. The current workload is being managed by existing procurement team members and plant resources; however, additional support is needed to maintain service levels and support ongoing business needs. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily procurement and purchasing operations across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Create, process, and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Track order status and coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries when necessary.
  • Maintain supplier information and procurement records within company systems.
  • Assist with obtaining supplier quotes and gathering vendor information.
  • Support supplier onboarding and documentation requirements.
  • Participate in sourcing activities and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Provide general administrative and project support for the Procurement team.
