Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: RRT Oregon License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: Experience with bubble CPAP, ABG, and vent/BiPAP/CPAP management Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Candidates must have an RRT Oregon license. Daily treatments may vary based on patient levels. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. RRT or CRT credentials are acceptable if requirements are met. The patient demographics include all ages. The department covers the entire facility, primarily focusing on inpatient care. Newborns are treated with bubble CPAP, and ER services are also included. Experience with ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP management, breathing treatments, EKG, and ABGs is essential. Assist with intubation procedures but are not required to intubate independently. The department has a small team and operates 24/7. Shift coverage includes variable shifts and weekend requirements. Holiday shifts are mandatory, and there is no call or standby requirement. The ability to move quickly is essential due to the layout of the facility. Prioritization and teamwork are necessary skills for this role. Independently oversee daily shift checks and performance duties. Physical activity may involve walking considerable distances during shifts.
