  • What you'll do

    • Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in personal legal and admin. As a Personal Legal & Admin Expert, you'll build long-horizon tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls. Expect to build scenarios across : - Contract review : leases and offer letters against a clause-checklist with known-problematic terms seeded in, insurance policies compared against a defined coverage rubric

    • Disputes : HOA and small-claims responses with ground-truth legal-sufficiency outcomes, security-deposit disputes against state-law references
    • Personal admin : document-prep packets against required-field lists for name / address / passport processes These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus. Who we're looking for - 3+ years as a paralegal, legal ops professional, or attorney
    • Expertise in one or more of the following : residential lease review, consumer insurance policy comparison, employment offer letter review, small claims or consumer disputes, estate document organization
    • Comfortable reading and producing personal-legal artifacts : redlines, dispute letters, comparison summaries, checklist packets
    • Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics
    • Located in the United States Compensation $70–$90 / hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
