Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in insurance policy administration and compliance. As a Policy Administration & Compliance Expert, you'll build long-horizon admin and compliance tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls. Expect to build scenarios across : - Policy lifecycle : endorsements with required fields and correct premium impact, renewals against renewal guidelines, cancellations with state-required notice periods, premium audits tied to source exposure data - Certificates and documents : COI issuance against contract requirements, policy form and wording review against a defined issue list - Regulatory : state DOI filings with required exhibits, market conduct exam responses with ground-truth documented answers These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus. Who we're looking for - 3+ years in policy administration, insurance operations, or insurance compliance at a carrier, MGA, or broker - Expertise in one or more of the following : endorsement and renewal processing, premium audit practice, COI issuance and tracking, state DOI filings and market conduct, policy form and wording review, a policy admin platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Duck Creek, AMS360, EPIC, carrier systems) - Comfortable reading and producing policy admin artifacts : endorsements, renewal packages, COIs, DOI filings, audit workpapers - Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics - AINS, CPCU, or equivalent a plus - Located in the United States Compensation $55–$75 / hr depending on domain depth and prior experience.
