Bilingual Part-Time HR Administrator
Let your career thrive with Volt. Volt is hiring a Bilingual Part-Time HR Administrator for a leading organization in Salinas, CA. As a Bilingual HR Administrator, you will:
- Track and update employee attendance in company systems.
- Follow up on absences and correct timecard issues.
- Add new hires to attendance trackers and monitor staffing updates.
- Respond to employee questions by email, phone, text, or in person.
- Take daily meeting notes and complete general office tasks (filing, scanning, organizing).
- Keep employee records accurate across systems (Winteam, UKG, Teams, rosters).
- Process employee removals, compliance checks, and personnel forms.
- Work with HR and Operations to ensure accurate information.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
This is a Part-time, temp to hire opportunity. 20-24 hours per week Schedule: Monday: 8:00am - 1:00pm Tuesday: 8:00am- 1:00pm Wednesday: 8:00am - 12:00pm Thursday: 8:00am - 12:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm The ideal candidate will have:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Basic administrative or office experience (HR or payroll experience helpful).
- Ability to learn HR systems such as Winteam, UKG, or similar tools.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with attendance tracking or payroll systems.
- Familiarity with I-9s, E-Verify, or compliance processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams or digital collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of payroll processes or workers' compensation.
Pay Rate: $20/hr. -$23/hr.
