UTILITIES PERSN NEEDED IN VANCE, AL
The UTILITIES person is meant to float through the facility contributing where ever needed.
Job Description
- TIG/MIG/MAG Weld
- Safely operate production equipment
- Complies with working instructions.
- Addresses problem situations quickly and notify supervisor or management immediately.
- Meets quality requirements.
- Exceptional mathematics skills
- Ability to stand 8 – 12 hours per day
- Ability to lift 50 – 85 pounds without assistance, repetitively
Logistics duties:
- Controls material movement to and from the production area based on Production Schedule and material availability.
- Books material in CPD as produced and ensures proper labeling of material.
- Researches inventory discrepancies and reports.
- Performs Cycle Counts as needed.
- Stocks production area.
- Alert Production Planning of any insufficient Work Orders needed for booking
- Must be PC literate.
- Basic level skill proficiency in MS Office, internet, web-based, and job specific software applications.
- Forklift Certification
Sequence duties:
- Uses scanners and computerized material picking system
- Supports quality control
- Arranges Exhaust Systems to match the Mercedes line
- Use lift assist to move Exhaust Systems
- Must have experience following work orders
- Must have experience scanning parts with handheld scanner
- Prior experience in a quality focused environment preferred

Pay is $20.15/hr
