UX Designer

As a UX Designer on this team, you will support and work alongside other product designers across the full spectrum of the UX design process from discovery and research to concept development, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks spanning multiple platforms. In collaboration with business leaders, engineers, product managers, and other UX and visual designers, you will work from defined requirements to pressure test ideas through tactical visual execution. To be successful you must be a critical, inventive thinker with clear design chops, an excitement for understanding and using data, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively. Being a big music fan would be a big plus. Key job responsibilities include : leveraging templates to create process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies; quickly iterative on user flows, wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, and visual design specifications with Design, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as business stakeholders and executive leadership; incorporating customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design; developing and nurturing relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency; providing feedback and contributing to a central design system; and being resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities. In this role, a UX Designer will work closely with design, product, research, engineering, and other teams across Amazon Music to iterate on existing experiences and deliver new features that delight customers. Basic Qualifications include : 2+ years of design experience, an available online portfolio, and experience with Figma and other prototyping tools. Preferred Qualifications include experience in a highly agile environment and experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,100 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
