Acara Solution is seeking an Android OS (Android Open-Source Project) Embedded Software Engineer for our client, located in

As an Embedded Software Engineer working with custom Hardware built in-house for our Cyber group, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing mission-critical, NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line. -

You'll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity and high-speed data.-

Real-Time multi-threaded Embedded software, on Linux and Android OSes.-

Model-based development, Rhapsody.-

Android Open-Source Project (AOSP)-based development (Android Operating System development).-

Android System Application development.-

Long development lifecycles and product lifespans require regular maintenance and technology refreshes.-

ARM virtualization extensions, a Hypervisor.-

Passion for designing complicated systems and working on problems of diverse scope. -

Shows initiative on assignments and executes projects with little guidance, and can provide technical direction and leadership.

Required Skills / Qualifications : -Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.-Minimum 5 years of experience with object-oriented design and programming, UML, C++, and Java.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.-Agile experience.-Hypervisor Technology.-Linux.-Rhapsody.-UML.-Device drivers.-Ninja / SOONG Build Systems.-Ability to define the scope, schedule, and expectations for the work you execute.-Ability to turn CONOPS, Specifications, or Requirements into software design, code, test plans, and then execute testing / debugging.-Proficiency with software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), version control, defect tracking, and scripting.
