Engineering Manager
Are you ready to lead an engineering team pushing the boundaries of innovation and impact? We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to guide the development of our next-generation CoCounsel product. In this role, you'll empower a team of talented engineers, oversee the end-to-end creation of robust UI and backend systems, and influence strategic decisions that drive our product forward.
About the Role In this opportunity as a Manager, Software Engineering, you will :
- Manage a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.
- Oversee the design and implementation of UI and backend solutions using modern frameworks and technologies, stepping in to code when necessary.
- Work with cross-functional teamsproduct managers, designers, and other leadersto define product strategy, set technical direction, and deliver innovative features.
- Own the team roadmap and project lifecycle, ensuring that initiatives move from ideation to successful production launches.
- Coach junior engineers, support professional development, and cultivate an environment where everyone can excel.
- Define success metrics to track and evaluate project outcomes, using data-driven insights to guide future decisions.
- Provide guidance on architecture, design, and best practices for front-end and back-end development.
- Play a pivotal role in hiring top engineering talent and expanding the team's capabilities.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $116,900 - $217,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
