Job Title : Experienced Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team in Vacaville, CA. The role involves both rough and finish carpentry to support the refurbishment, repair, and customization of modular units. This full-time position is on-site with a shift from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rough carpentry including framing, structural repairs, subfloor installation, and general construction tasks on modular units.
  • Complete finish carpentry such as trim work, cabinetry, doors, windows, and interior finishing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Install and repair flooring, wall panels, fixtures, and other interior components.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with technicians, electricians, and other team members to complete unit refurbishments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, including both rough and finish work.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment and occasionally outdoors.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction.

    Work Environment

    The team has recently relocated to Vacaville from Hayward and is expanding in this new large location. The work environment is fast-paced and hands-on, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and minimal supervision in their work.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vacaville, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00 / hr.
