Responsibilities

• Tear out drywall and replace it according to the layout needed for the next job site.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools on the job.
• Use a spray gun to paint the interior and exterior of trailers.
• Remove old flooring and install laminate or tile flooring based on customer needs.
• Document completed tasks using a paper method system.
• Operate a forklift to move or lift items around the yard when necessary.
• Assist in cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.

Essential Skills

• "Handy Man" type skills or someone that has been the maintenance for apartment complexes translates well.
• No certifications or specific licenses are required.
• Mechanically Inclined and someone that cares about working for a company where safety comes first.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.

Work Environment / Shift

• Working in shop where they drop off units to be repaired and sent back out to construction sites.
• Smaller shop with 15 technicians
• Mon-Fri (7am-3:30pm) but in the Spring/ Summer time they will be asked to work OT due to the workload increasing tremendously

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
