Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Concrete Carpenter to join our team in Mobile, AL. If you have a passion for concrete work and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will play a vital part in constructing and repairing concrete structures, ensuring that our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

  • Construct, install, and repair concrete forms, structures, and frameworks.

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork, scaffolding, and shoring to support concrete pours..

  • Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms prior to concrete placement.

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project success.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.

  • Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a concrete carpenter or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in concrete work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You should be proficient in:
