We are seeking a
licensed and experienced Fire Alarm Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, program, and integrate security cameras, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and access control systems while ensuring reliable performance and compliance with industry standards.
This is NOT an entry-level position. We are specifically looking for technicians who already have
hands-on field experience with fire alarm or electronic security systems.Please do not apply if you: - Do not have hands-on fire alarm or security system experience
- Are looking for an entry-level or apprentice position
- Do not currently hold, or are not eligible to obtain, the required Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Division license

Responsibilities As an
experienced technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and integrating multiple life safety and security systems, including:
• Program and commission IP-based camera systems
• Program and activate intrusion detection systems
• Install, update, and troubleshoot fire alarm panels, devices, and components
• Configure and activate access control systems
• Pull, terminate, label, and test data and fiber optic cabling
• Integrate fire alarm, surveillance, intrusion, and access control systems into customer networks
• Test and verify system functionality to ensure compliance with NFPA standards
• Diagnose and resolve system issues in the field
Qualifications Candidates
must meet the following requirements to be considered:
•
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience installing or servicing fire alarm and/or electronic security systems
•
Active Texas Fire Alarm or Security license (required) • Strong understanding of
NFPA codes and standards • Experience working with
IP-based devices and networked systems • Ability to program and troubleshoot fire alarm, camera, intrusion, and access control systems
• Must meet
background requirements outlined by the Texas Department of Public Safety - Private Security Program
