Business Intelligence Manager II
As a Business Intelligence Manager II, you will lead a small to medium-sized team focused on delivering data-driven insights and reporting solutions. Your team will be responsible for building data literacy and advocating for data needs upstream and early in the process. There will be a focus on enabling self-service via semantic layers, using a product happy path approach to ensure data driven decision making and actionable insights. You and your team will act as strategic partners to the business, while taking ownership of enterprise dashboards / reports to drive and champion success.
Outcomes and Activities :
- Lead the development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business operations and strategy.
- Collaborate with PMO, Product, Stakeholders, and Engineering to align data initiatives in the department with business goals.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of tasks and ensure clarity and cleanliness of data pipelines and reporting artifacts.
- Partner with infrastructure and data engineering teams to ensure optimal performance of BI tools and platforms.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of data sources, business processes, and reporting requirements; propose effective solutions.
- Analyze risks and impacts of BI changes on business operations and recommend improvements.
- Apply and advocate for team standards in data documentation, visualization, and testing.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, recognizing upstream and downstream data impacts.
- Continuously improve BI processes and mentor team members to enhance data literacy and analytical capabilities.
- Monitor BI system health and proactively address issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning within the team.

Target Compensation :
A competitive base salary range from $129,018 - $189,227. This position is eligible for an annual variable bonus of cash and equity, between 15-30%. Bonus amounts are based on individual performance. Final compensation within the range is influenced by many factors including role-specific skills, depth and experience level, industry background, relevant education and certifications.
Candidates who reside in the following major metropolitan areas may be eligible for a premium on top of the posted range based on their specific zone : San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, New York City, Los Angeles and San Diego.
