Job Title: Assembler/Finisher

Shift: 1st 6:00am-2:30pm M-F

Pay: $17.50-$18/hr

Location: Downtown, Jacksonville (32204)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler and Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and finishing the final product using various hand and power tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision, ensuring high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and finish the final product using hand and power tools.
• Scrape off splatter from welds and hand/spray paint portions of the product.
• Move and stack products with assistance.
• Read and interpret tape measures to cut materials to size.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience using hand and power tools, including table saws and saw-zas.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
• 1+ years of experience in assembly work.
• Ability to cut materials to precise sizes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled fabrication shop with two shift options: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Note that the 2nd shift will require training on the 1st shift for approximately two weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
