Job description

Join an internationally recognized designer, manufacturer and marketer of resistive foil technology, sensors and sensor-based systems as a Full-Time Microelectronics Assembler at VPG’s location in Wendell, NC. The Assembler will perform fabrication functions in the production of devices. They will also support policies & procedures to promote continuous improvement to the quality of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand, and follow all forms of procedures, processes, work orders and any related documentation to produce high quality products. Following and comprehending SOPs is vital at all times.
  • Use of magnifiers, microscopes, small hand tools, tweezers, scalpels and razor blades.
  • Works with chemicals and solutions.
  • Responsible to operate, maintain, and perform housekeeping tasks for machine/equipment.
  • System usage may be required for use processing work orders.
  • Responsible for material expiration date control as outlined in the process.
