Position Overview
Develops, edits, and maintains Army Operational Contract Support (OCS) doctrine and related publications in accordance with TRADOC and Army publishing standards. Conducts research, analysis, and coordination to produce doctrinal products, including Program Directives, Initial Drafts, Final Drafts, and Final Signature Drafts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current policy, operations, and capability requirements.
Applies TRADOC Regulation 25-30, TR 25-36, and associated publishing guidance to support the full doctrine development lifecycle, including staffing, comment adjudication, and preparation of Change Resolution Matrices (CRMs). Reviews and analyzes existing doctrine, policy documents, and operational inputs to identify gaps, recommend revisions, and ensure integration of OCS concepts across Army publications.
Collaborates with CASCOM, TRADOC, and other stakeholders to develop doctrinal products, handbooks, and supporting materials that enhance Army readiness and standardize OCS practices. Produces high-quality written deliverables and provides recommendations to leadership to support doctrine modernization and continuous improvement.
