Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Serve as the point of contact and client interface for project technology related issues. - Manage project expectations, evaluate project needs, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that program needs are met with respect to urgency and priority. - Review all project deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy meet project, stakeholder, and contractual standards. - Execute all project management functions; including work breakdown, monitoring and tracking of technical progress against the defined timetables, budgets, staff assignments and developments. - Lead and direct the successful delivery of services while ensuring that assigned projects adhere to the approved life cycle work patterns, standards, and procedures for solution delivery. - Provide detailed direction during various stages of the lifecycle to include requirements analysis, testing and potentially programming support. - Identify, track, manage, and communicate risks and issues with stakeholders and upper management. - Assure the project is in compliance with company standards and procedures. Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coach Agile teams: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to promote effective team collaboration and continuous improvement. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, technical leads, QA, business operations, shared services, and client-facing teams to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines. - Tracking and Reporting: Provide project and team performance metrics including status, risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, velocity, burnup/burndown, milestones, and decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders. - Impediment Removal: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. - Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Progress Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics ensuring transparency and accountability. - Agile Advocacy: Promote Agile values and principles within the organization, driving adoption and adherence to Agile methodologies. - Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in related field. - 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required. Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. - 5+ years of project management, Scrum Master, or Agile delivery experience. - 3+ years facilitating Scrum ceremonies for software development or IT delivery teams. - Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or Agile teams. - Experience in creating project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and executive-level updates. - Experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, QA, systems analysts, and production support teams. - Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar platforms. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
