Job description
Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, Quality Validation

Location: Denton, TX
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay: $23

A day in the role

You clock in at 7:00 AM, review the day’s build list, and pull up the latest engineering drawings. Your morning starts at the bench, assembling mechanical sub-systems with precision—torqueing fasteners to spec, routing hardware, and preparing for test. By mid-morning, you’re conducting voltage checks and quality verifications, documenting every reading and observation with care. After lunch, you collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve a minor fit-and-function issue, then wrap up by cleaning your workspace and updating inspection records so production stays on schedule.

What you’ll do
  • Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems by following engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Run voltage testing and perform QA/QC inspections on completed builds.
  • Confirm products meet specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring equipment safely and effectively.
  • Record test outcomes and inspection notes with accuracy and completeness.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues that arise during build and test.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or a manufacturing setting.
  • Background in QA/QC inspection or testing.
  • Exposure to high-voltage or electrical testing (preferred, not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and SOPs.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools; comfortable using measurement instruments.
  • Keen attention to detail, safety, and product quality.
  • Capable of standing, lifting, and working consistently in a production environment.
Preferred (not required)
  • Experience with electronics, electrical assembly, or power systems.
  • IPC or related industry certifications.
  • Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
