Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.
oPerform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned area
oOperate complex equipment and machines in a safe manner
oFit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
oWork from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications
oIdentify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
oMaintain logs and other necessary documents
oWork with direct supervision
oAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
oAbility to recognize deviation from accepted practices
oAbility to operate a variety of machines
oBasic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts
oVisual acuity and manual dexterity
oGood verbal and written communication skills
Desired Education, Certifications and Experience
o1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experience
oHigh School diploma or equivalent
