Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 50+ lbs. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-driven. Competitive hourly wage based on experience. $30 hour DOE. Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fourslide Operator role on in Wood Village, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for precision metal fabrication, innovation, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality components. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up, operate, and monitor Fourslide forming machines to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints and production specifications.
- Inspect parts during production using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to tolerances.
- Make mechanical adjustments to tooling, feeds, and speeds to maintain consistent part quality and machine performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, setup sheets, and process documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records, including part counts and inspection results.
- Identify and report any machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Work independently while collaborating with the production and quality teams to meet daily goals.
